Hi everyone.

We have a Vango Icarus 500 xl tent and are looking for a side awning/canopy/porch for it. It doesn't need to be fully enclosed as we want to use it mainly for cooking do just needs to provide some cover. Any suggestions?

I have a Mira 500 porch that is brand new still in its box. We bought it for our Maritsa 700, it fit well but, never used it, only tried it on once. If you google it, you will be able to see if it fits, it is moss green.

I have the front enclosed porch for the Icarus 500 only used it twice....And as my Icarus has now gone to tent heaven it's now lying redundant among the rest of my camping gear....

Thanks for the replies. We have purchased the vango excel large porch so will let you know how it fits after we've been away in a couple of weeks.

We love our Icarus 500. Its the xl one so lots of living room. Just wanted something extra to cook, dump muddy and wet clothes etc.

Hi, just wondered how you got on with your side porch for the Icarus 500xl?
We have the same tent & managed to get an Icarus 800/1000 side porch which apparently fits ok. Going to try it out today!
