Hi

I can't specifically comment on the Maritsa 500, but we have the Maritsa 700 which comes highly recommended.

We use ours for longer stays for four of us plus dog.

Love the fact that we have bedrooms/wardrobe, living room area & porch for kitchen things.

It is heavy though & takes up quite a lot of room. We tend to use it on longer trips.

How many people will it be for?

Hi Karen,

We had a Maritsa 500 and it was a brilliant tent, we absolutely loved it.

Loved the separate porch, plenty of room inside, felt nice and spacious even when you were cooped up because of the rain, and always felt sturdy. It coped very well with some pretty awful weather too!

It is heavy, and it does take a while to pitch, but once it's done it's well worth the effort.

Hi all, I have just purchased a Maritsa 500. It's my first ever tent!! I'm 52 and my wife and I are going on our first camping trip this weekend (17/18th July 2015).
I have had a test run and I tried to read all of KateB1975 reports as she seems to have been in the same place as me a few years ago.
My wife has bad knees and it will be very hard for her to help me much, do you have any advice that will make my first pitch at a PROPER campsite less embarrassing?
We are going to Trig Point campsite as recommended on this site.
I'm quite able though going grey now!!!!!
