Hi all
As soon as I have sorted out this question, I am going to purchase my new tent, an Outwell Corvette L (inflatable). However, looking at the Camping World website, I have the option to extend the warranty to two years Camping World Extended Warranty
The previous two tents I have owned (I have gradually downsized) the Outwell Montana 6P ended up with a window fault after just one trip out, the Vango Eclipse had some severe leakage problems down the beams.
This tent will be the last one I will buy for a VERY long time.
Can I have your honest advice as to whether this extended warranty is worth it please? Im not normally in the habit of buying an extended warranty for anything like a washing machine etc, but this is a purchase only second to my car tbh. I am not sure what would be included in the normal warranty for tents and what this additional £50 would give me.
Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that Outwell tents come with a two year warranty anyway. Looks like they're trying to sell you something that you would already have!!!
Be careful with Camping World - I've had no end of issues with them from start to finish. Personally wouldn't touch them with a barge pole now, and I know a lot of people who are of the same opinion..

Thank you for your replies, Larbea, is there any way of finding out what the issues are with Camping World, I don't want to be knowingly buying from a company people have concerns about.
The main complaint I've seen is that they have a habit of taking money for goods that aren't yet in stock on your order. I experienced that recently and ended up having to cancel the product as I couldn't wait any longer - they did eventually refund me. The online retailers that I have and do work for now won't take money till AFTER the order is processed, CW seem to do it before and don't care if the customer is charge for goods they don't deliver.
I personally had issues over a deliver, which I was told was coming on X date, and was then fobbed off with excuses as to why it was being delivered partially, when I'd paid for and been told that it was coming complete.
They are known to be expensive and overpriced versus their competition.
IMHO there are much better retailers out there, the smaller independents are always worth a look..
