Looking for some advice/tips anyone has for packing up the Kampa Southwold 8 or any other large inflatable tent.
Pitching it is a doddle, getting it packed in its bag is another matter! No matter how we do it we always end up with a bulging air filled bit at the end and are usually having to have the entire family roll around on it to dispel the air!
Currently, our preferred method is to fold it into thirds, towards the air valves, widthways so we end up with a very long rectangle. We then roll from one end which works well until the last quarter when we just end up with a massive bulge. I think the instructions said to have the doors and sleeping compartments shut but last time we kept them open and it didn't seem to make things any better.
Have looked in vain online for any pointers (plenty of videos showing it popping in 10 seconds!) but can't find any.
Any advice welcome!

We had a bit of that when packing away our new Tomcat MP,as you say ensure all valves are open and leave some doors and vents partially open to give the air an escape route when rolling away, practice as well helps our next pack up post garden air-off was more successful, still think the bag could be a bit bigger though..... also beware trying to force air out of a tent during rolling I once split the carry bag of our old Norfolk lake by doing a comedy "Big Daddy splash" on it to reduce the pack size!

Ha ha, thank you for that, I especially like the warning against any 'big daddy moves'!!! Link with step by step photos is superb, nice to see how it's really done 'in the field'. Will put all advice into action and see how we get on...😀😀😀😀😀😀
