Vango Eden 600 xl airbeam
And now the outdoor revolution 6.0xt
We went for this tent as it's the closet layout to the Vermont xlp which we really loved and regret selling

Vango Eden 600 XL Airbeam has a very large living area. Nice panoramic window to the front and an attached porch which make it seem even bigger.

The two biggest problems we had with Eden
Weight near on 70kgs when dry add 10 kgs when wet
The canopy is only there really to keep the rain off the sloping front with all the guylines in place the canopy isn't really that big

I would also recommend seeing tents in the flesh. I spent a lot of time looking at different options and wanted the biggest living space, with a seperate area for the kitchen. If it wasn't for the fact I wanted polycotton, I would have gone for the OR I think. I found all the Outwells too small (the air tubes don't help as they are more curved) and almost went for the Kampa Croyde.

The Euphoria has 300x440 living area but you need the front awning to enclose the porch, which then gives you an extra 330x440 and it doesn't slope too much at the front. However the front awning doesn't have windows (although I got some put in mine) so can be dark.

As a previous Eden owner I also agree with paul on the layout problems.

At the end of the day, you may not find the 100% perfect tent - I have got there by spending a lot of money

Sorry, without reading all the above posts and only the title I would say the largest living area available for 6-8 berth inflatable tent would be the Vango Eclipse 600 plus if you add the zip on awning it is then by far the biggest. You can then use the Vango universal inner to gain the extra 2 berth to make it a true 8 berth set up.

Do be mindful of pitch sizes - the Eclipse with front awning makes it very long (950cm). It does have the biggest living area though. It depends whether you would like a separate section for kitchen, wet bits etc.

We have the Vango Shangri La which is the polycotton version of the Eclipse. To give you an idea of the living space, there are two adults, two large teenagers and a nine year old, chairs for all five, a four shelf camp cupboard, two trugs and a table in there in the evenings, and there is still plenty of room to walk around!
