Hi, I am going camping for the first time and have never pitched a tent before.
I have inherited a Royal Denver 4 Select ZG, in an impeccable condition from my elder brother, but unfortunately the pitching instructions are missing. I cant seem to locate the manual anywhere on the net. I am going out camping with the Royal Denver this weekend.
I sent an email to Royal Leisure, and they said that the tent was discontinued before they bought the business but were nice enough to point me to the previous sellers.
I then contacted Unipart Leisure, who also said that they don't have instructions but they asked me to contact Tent Spares.co.uk
Who in turn said that since the model is discontinued, instructions arent available.
Does any member have the pitching instructions or manual for the tent? I would be much obliged.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
poles are colour coded. if you look at a picture of the tent (loads if you google Royal Denver Select 4 ZG) you will see colours at the bottom of the black strips where the poles go - yellow red blue. there will be the same colours on the poles. put a red marked pole thru the strips marked red, and so on. only looks to be 4 poles so can't be too hard. take it to the local park on a dry day with a mate and have a play
Wow!! Thanks a lot. I did go and try to pitch it myself with the missus, yesterday.
Took us one hour without instructions.
I did follow the colour marking on the strips on the tent and the poles but I had no idea that there were colours on the bottom of the black strips also!!!
This should make it a lot easier. Thank you so much!
I leave today for the Campsite with a severe weather warning!
