i can pitch my icarus 500 in 30 mins. first time slightly longer as that included attaching sleeping pod area. 2nd time quicker as i left it attached and its now a pitch in one style.

Quilly, do you find it bothersome to dry the big canvas just for a night or two of camping?

Not been in that position yet, we always book an extra night so we have all day to dry/pack up, its zig, so if we did bring it home wet, once the groundsheet is separated the canvas area isn't unworkable to dry. Our o/well Montana lake though is a different matter entirely!

I have a polycotton Bell, it's a 4m and it's a bit of a brute to be honest, in terms of lifting it out of the boot and also, who thought an end on loading bag would be a good thing! I'm after a heavyweight massive holdall with a zip down the full length!
Anyway, regardless of what tent I bring (I have a few options) dealing with a wet tent is no easier no matter which one it is.
Of those hard to find three bedroom tents, you haven't looked at the Suncamp Shadow 8 yet (maybe getting a bit big but you are futureproofing if you get a bit bigger) as it has the added feature of having one big pod at one end with a dividing curtain, and two separate pods at the other end (vis a vis tent) which means you can choose not to use one of them and increase your living space. So it can be a true four pod tent, or one, or two or three. Whatever takes your fancy!

Don't want to sound patronising but are you sure the Icarus 600 is only 2 bedrooms
As I thought the 4 berth pod has a zipped or toggled divider
I might be wrong

my icarus 500 has 2 bedrooms (supposed to be for 5 folks), or 1 huge room if you don`t use the room divider.

We've had an Icarus 500 and now have a 5m bell. We deliberately chose the bell as we're mainly weekend campers. Really quick to put up, but heavy when wet. Wouldn't change it for the world! Not a cheap option but if it's not for you they hold their value.
