Hi,
We are a family of 3 and are looking to buy a new tent.
I have looked at the Outwell Montana 6E and like the space offered in living/dining area. However, the sleeping area is very generous for us. Can anyone recommend a similar tent which has a smaller sleeping area but retains a similar sized living/dining area.
Another requirement would be a porch suitable for cooking in or a large door, as the Montana, which can be converted into a canopy for cooking under. I will not entertain cooking within the tent.
Thank you in advance.

Vango nadina 600 maybe
But I think I'd prefer the bedrooms to be a bit bigger than I'd want
Gives you somewhere for the luggage

Kampa Croyde 6, great tent with a large light airy living area plus a built in canopy! We are a family of three and it fits us perfectly!

I'm part of a family of three and can recommend the Outwell Nevada M. It felt massive to me inside but is definitely smaller (and much lighter) than the Montana. There was certainly plenty room for the 3 of us. We did / do our cooking outside.
It is also possible to purchase the awning for it to extend the living space out a bit.
Hi All,
Some interesting ideas. The Obelink is an interesting tent I must say.
Having looked at the alternatives and again on the Outwell site I can see why the Montana 6 is such a popular tent and perhaps as Paul+Kate point out, the extra room space might actually come in handy!
Well, after much deliberation we have gone for the Montana 6E.
Thank you for all of your input as it was good to look at the alternatives before making the purchase.
