Please don't everybody run away or shout at me.

I'm looking for a 4 person pop up tent for myself and two children.

I need the tent to go up quickly and down the same way.

My children have a couple of issues which is why this is required, not something I can discuss but makes messing around with poles etc and concentrating difficult I've found.

I'm sure there must be such things, but can't seem to find any. Would need a porch for equipment.

Can anyone help?

Thank you

Jeff

Decathlon used to sell this Quechua.

You might find a suitable Khyam tent, possibly?

Thank you, do you know if it's all of the tent in the pics? I get the idea there might be extra bits?

Gemdrew's review (second one down) mentions a "Base Full", apparently a utility porch, which may be seen in some of the pictures.

we have the quechua base seconds, but we bought the inner bedroom for it which makes it a 4 berth tent all in one room, ok it would be no good for having things such as the cooker etc in there, but you can get 2 of them and then use one as the bedroom and the other then opens up to become a large porch, they really do only take seconds to put up, and a bit of time remembering how to fold them back down, we have used ours for a couple of weekends away going to classic car shows

Do you have the budget for an air tent? Go for one of the smaller ones with no more than three 'poles' or air chambers. Peg it out, attach an electric pump three times (one per chamber) and that's pretty much it, apart from pegging down the guy ropes which you can do a bit at a time as long as it's not windy

I'm looking at the Coleman Instant tents at the moment. Looking good for ease of up and down but no porch I'm afraid. You can buy an extension separately for some of the models.

I had the out well fusion pop up - lasted a summer of regular camping and then the front pole deteriorated so badly it became pretty unusable. Had the Quechua base as an awning for my Bongo, easy up but I found it hard to put down again. Also had a Vango Airbeam Infinity which was excellent in all respects but too big for my needs now (it was a huge bag and very, very heavy but it did have wheels on the bag)

The Base Seconds 4.2 is just the same to put away as the Base Seconds, only a bit bulkier. I recently sold one and to be honest I didn't like the low bedroom height.

I feel that a Vango Icarus sized airbeam or even the Vango Zetes sized one would be good for you.

Actually both those tents are quick pitching anyway. I don't think you'll get anything instant pitching, in my experience with pop ups, and I have about 4 of them inc Base seconds, you still pay in terms of effort and time, only the price is exacted at the end of your camp not at the beginning.
