Has anyone seen or bought one of these (or any model of Zempire) ? We're upsizing, after 20 years, from a two man dome to something with a bigger living area and want something that pitches nice and taut without copious amounts of extra 'canvas' to keep you awake at night in mildly windy conditions!

not used one, but went to look at tents last weekend at our local camping shop, and the only 2 that had leaked and had big puddles inside were Zempire. It's a shame as they looked like good tents otherwise. Perhaps they were badly assembled, but no-other in the whole place had leaked.
have to admit it put me off enough to not look at them properly.

Hi.....i considered the Zemphire. During the IOM TT I spotted one pitched at a campsite....chatted to the owners and promptly changed my mind. Their camp mate had a Robens Vista 600 and I now have one and am well chuffed with it. It pitches very taut and the quality is superb. It's pricey but I found a discount code and bagged it for around £800. If you can't stretch to the Vista then check out the Cabin 600.....same tent but polyester.

September 2015
I thought I'd update you:-

We bought the Zempire Hubble in late August and have had two opportunities now to use it. The quality is excellent, and it pitches easily with colour coded poles making the process fairly straightforward. The space and storage is great. My main observations so far are:-

1) It's extremely heavy in the bag, and I think it's unlikely that a small person would be able to easily pitch it on their own

2) If the sun canopy is not pegged-out, there is only a small entry/exit point on one side of the front.

and the big one.......

3) The much heralded 'Free Flow Air system' does keep condensation down, and the rig cooler without making it cold when the temperature drops. The side vents can be adjusted to a certain point, BUT something designed to aid the flow of air in and around a tent can lead to an awful lot of noise and movement when the wind picks up. This is our only real disappointment and I'm sure the designers could come up with something where the air vents can be completely closed if necessary
