Hi,
We're looking at revising our current tent portfolio (current count of 7 - does that count as too many for two people?) as we evolved from my preferred method of lightweight and small to heavyweight and everything including the kitchen sink which the required taking a trailer to carry it all - our main big tent is an Outwell Bear Lake 6 which unfortunately we've only managed to use once, we both have back issues and its proven to be fine when we're both healthy but not ideal if one of us has a problem so it looks like it needs to be sold.

We've been looking at the current tent market and were initially interested in air-tents - these are now off the list though due to weight, cost and bulk (cost only comes into it as we can't see enough of an advantage over other tents).

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a 6 berth tent which is:
# easy to put up (non-air)
# packs down to a reasonable size that will effectively sit in the space of a single person on the back seat (upright with a seatbelt on!)
# Has good curtains which attach from the bottom and allow for variable height closing
# Is suitable for us and a couple of Collies (reason for a 6 man is space for them, they are excitable and not too keen on seeing people walk past hence the curtains).
# Flexi-pole design is preferred as they tend to be easier to put up and lighter than the rigid steel/ally polls.
# Has decent ventilation so when we are inside with the dogs and the door is closed we don't just bake.

Any ideas would be good - I'm currently playing off the Outwell Nevada XLP and the Hi Gear Voyager Elite 6 - the Voyager ticks many of the boxes but with no window in the main door it could feel a little closed in - plus with our luck camping we'd prefer a rain safe door if possible so we don't just let water in - we can live without it but in an ideal world... budget is up to around £500 and we can wait until end of season sales to achieve that if needed

Thanks
Andy and Jo
