We currently have an Outwell Montana 6 (which we love) for big camping holidays but we are looking for a second tent which would be easier to throw up, more lightweight/smaller to use for shorter camping trips and the kids to sleep out in the garden etc...
It needs to be minimum 5 man and we would also like fully sewn in ground sheet. We don't want to spend a fortune on it, maybe around £100 but we would spend more for a better quality tent.
Any recommendations would be fantastic, Thanks in advance

Last year we bought an Icarus 500 for weekend thinking it would be easier to put up and quicker. As there are 5 of us we bought the 'porch ext'. The tent was too small lounge/living space wise and the extension was too big. The bedroom was snug but for a weekend was fine for us.
This year we are going to use the 6p for a weekend, should we ever find time to go. We just decided less stuff.
2 x single burners to heat up food. No kitchen unit. Limited kit. Less clothes such as wearing set, change and warmer stuff.
Mr F suggested turning underwear inside out - the children liked that idea
Thanks for the replies, the small tent is now on hold as we could't find the prefect one and we have since booked two consecutive trips (11 nights)away so we will be needing the big tent this time anyway.
The Outwell Earth 5 and the Vango Eos 550 seemed to come close but neither had the sewn in groundsheet.

I don't really see the problem taking a large tent for weekends, it doesn't take that much longer to put up, to be honest most of the time I spend more time erecting the furniture etc inside the tent so as Frazzle says taking less equipment probably makes more sense.
If you are still considering a smaller tent though, what about something like the Kampa Oxwich 5, bit more than your budget at £250 though, but Kampas are good quality.
