Hi.....thinking of buying one for a Robens Vista 600 and just wondered if anyone had one or any experiences with one....just things like quality, stability in wind etc.
Many thanks

On Friday afternoon I saw something very similar for the first time. About ten minutes later when I was pitching my tent, I saw it get ripped into about five prices by the wind.
I dont know if it was an actual shade catcher, but it was a sort of tarp that had a hoop at the front and was attached to a Robens tent.
It was really windy, though! Another group had a gazebo reduced to a tangled mess.
Given the forecast, if they were mine, I would have taken them down...
oops.....thanks for the info.
some common sense with these things is needed and if it was really windy I wouldn't leave it up but you can't always predict little gusts.
Robens used to do a proper extension for the Vista/Cabin 600 but stopped and now they are rarer than hens teeth. That why the less substantial Shade Catcher seems my only option.
Whilst it was up, it looked good - but watch forecasts for wind!
It threw a peg a few minutes before it shredded - I would have gone and pegged it down, but I was in the middle of pitching my tent on my own. By the time mine was pegged and guyed out safely, the canopy was no more.
