Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there could assist with the dating of my Vango force ten, mark 5 which has a light blue rubberised sewn in ground sheet, and on the fly sheet it has rope (which looks manufactured) where most modern tents have rubber loops for pegging out.
I have spent the weekend in it, it has been wet and very windy but in good old Vango Force Ten fashion, we have been warm and dry! I reproofed it a few weeks ago and its a good as new.
Any help appreciated.

Take the tent out of it's bag.
Lay out the inner tent and undo the door.
Stick your head inside and look to your right, you should find a fire safety and manufacturing data label there giving you the information you require.
This is the standard location for any single room tent.
The Mk 5's were first made in the early/mid 70's by the original Vango company and in those days did not have any internal labels but had blue ground sheets.
