This is an interesting story for you.
I live around 20 miles away from BCT tents and started speaking to them in June for them to make me a tent. They said it will take 4 weeks to make. I called them and advised that I wanted them to go ahead and I just needed a price. They said they would come back that day. Two weeks later I am still chasing them. I eventually got a price but said that tent was needed within the 4 weeks. We agreed and we went ahead with the order.
About 4 days before the tent was due to be ready I was told that they would not be able to fulfill the order.... big let down. Looking for alternatives I came across Dewit in the Netherlands and found that they picture the same tents. Guess what, BCT make tents for this Dutch company. Therefore, I am travelling over 1000 miles and a ferry crossing to get a tent that is made around the corner. What a mess!!!!

Thanks
We were going for the Troop Tent XL, but now we are looking at the Suez Super Premium, which as far I understand they don't sell in the UK. It is very similar just slightly larger, but still made by them.
It is encouraging to hear that you are happy with yours.
The company seem very disorganised and could do very well with some new systems to organise themselves.

Is it De Wit at Schijndel you are going to? We called in there a few weeks ago to buy a cool box when our caravan fridge stopped working. They had lots of tents on display, inside and outside. I could happily have spent a day there!

Hi Ronni, that is right. Sounds great will look forward to it. Just looking for a campsite nearby. Do you have any recommendations?

You make it sound like an ordeal, camping in Holland is ok. Nearest site to Schijndel is at Eerde nearby. Google Het Goeie Leven. Have a good trip.
