New to everything camping, I'm looking for a 3 man tent for two people, I've got my eye on a vango omega 350.
I always jump into purchases 2 footed and sometimes regret it, is there anything at the same price (£179) I should be considering or have I made the right choice?
Not looking for a living quarter tent just a sleeping quarter.
Many thanks for any input you may give

Size or weight is not an issue as it's basically to be taken from the car and put up, I would probably be looking at quality more than anything else but I don't know enough about them, I could stretch the budget to around £250 if it would boost the quality into another level of tents.
I will defo have a look at the tent you mentioned though thanks a lot for your recommendation 👍
Are robens a good brand I have never heard of them?
Several of the Scottish members have this Coleman tent. It is just the sleeping area, and taller than the Vango so you won't need to crawl around as much.

If you are car camping I would certainly go for a tent with plenty of room and one you can stand up straight in...unless of course you enjoy crawling around on hands and knees amongst all your camping gear.
The reason I was just wanting sleeping quarters is my brother has a larger tent with living quarters so we were planning on using theirs for that and the new tent would solely be for sleeping, I might change my mind now though in case we decide to go solo another time.
You need one that you can stand up in even though it's only a sleeping tent, a couple of days of trying to dress with you neck bent over or crouching will give you a blooming bad back, good luck hope you get a suitable one

Thanks Iv only been looking one day and already the budget has been blown out the water haha
I'm looking at the outwell Nevada S, will see if anywhere local to Northumberland/Newcastle has one to view before I purchase
Yes a middle sized tunnel tent like the Outwell Nevada S or M is a good manageable tent, and good quality too, so you will be unlikely to be disappointed and find yourself wanting an upgrade quickly.

Excellent at keeping rain from coming through the flysheet.
But it has a toggled in main area groundsheet.
1 very wet & rainy night, the wind whipped up the rain drops around the tent & carried them into the " living space " - soaking everything in there. A sig wud hav been the sensible choice.
The fabric over the zips on the doors needs more Velcro to hold it down.
The wind lifted the fabric and the torrential rain came in thru the zippers.
So much for the 5000mm hydro head when the rain just comes in every other which way!
A good tent but let down badly in those areas
