Hi, I've checked lots of threads but none quite resolve my query! I'm planning an overnight stop on the way to the Dordogne next summer (2 adults 2 children) and would like a 4berth overnight tent; my wife's requirement is v quick pitch. I have looked at Outwell Dusk 4 and Cloud 5 as well as Vango Ark400+ which is my favourite (based on reviews) but apparently doesn't pitch fast enough! Does anyone have tent suggestions or opinions on the selection mentioned?
All thoughts gratefully received!
Thank you.

If you want something quick pitching just to sleep in have a look at the Coleman Instant Tourer 4, you can pitch that thing in a couple of minutes. Could be a bit snug for 4 people however unless you simply want somewhere to sleep for overnighters.
Dont confuse it with the Coleman Instant 4 that has a living area at the front but gets terrible reviews.

Just checking it now thanks, it is just for sleeping, I'd go for the slightly larger and accept longer to pitch, I've seen several including the Vango at 20 mins ish 😀
Suppose it depends what you class as quick pitching. The Coleman Instant Tourer 4 pitches in a couple of minutes but may be snug for 4. We have a Vango Asante 500 which is a fair size with steel poles and we can pitch it in a steady 15 minutes, there are loads of tents that are quite big but can go up quickly just like our Asante.
It sounds like your other half is after "super quick"
If you were to go for something like the Coleman Instant Tourer 4 I picked one up for £93 delivered. A bit of advise Use a site called Flubit and paste in the Amazon link, after a few hours they create a deal for you with a better price, they beat the Amazon price by £15. Go Outdoors also have it but at £140!

I was wondering the same thing. Is it worth getting a quick pitch tent for an overnight in France to break the journey? I noticed the campers next to me had one of these but I didn't see how it pitched. Seemed sturdy, they spent a few nights in it.
this? ok it's going to be a large flat circle but should squeeze in as it is flat, it is a similar space to the decathlon one above and still double skinned.

Thanks Tynxuk, I did check it out but in the end I went for the the Vango Ark400 plus although the Air tent suggested came a close second but I'm too glass half empty and the thought of turning up and the thing springing a leak put me off!
