Hi guys can anyone recommend a good Seam Sealant, we have a Kalahari 10 that's six years old and had some weakage this year, well I say weakage it might have been condensation but I want to seal the seams just to be on the safe side.
And also can the whole tent be reproofed?
Many thanks.

For a big tent it is most economic to buy Fabsil in a 1 l tin, applied with a paint brush. Fabsil has the effect of making rain bead up and run off the fabric rather than soaking in. Fabsil will not be enough on its own to seal any leaky seams. The threads of man made fabric don't close up around stitches, which is why tent seams are covered with a clear tape. If you are sure that particular spots on seams are leaking, you need a tube of silicone seam sealant to treat the area.
