We're thinking of extended dinghy trips, camping overnight. There are just two of us and a small dog, but we'd like something with a reasonable living area (5'8" headroom?) for reading/cooking when wet. Warm, easy to put up and stow, maybe polycotton, anything spring to mind? Thanks in advance.

Yup, I just bought a Wild Country Zephyros 3 for weekends. It's only just over 4 kg in weight and is a simple hoop design with one ingenious little poles at each side. It's about £210 usually, but I found it on offer at Uttings, though they seem to have put it back up to normal price now. The pitching video on the Terra Nova site gives a good insight to the shape and interior here
I have had mine out for a good check over, and found it easy to put up single handed. Headroom is okay for me (I am 5'7"). The build quality is great, with alloy poles, and I hope to get a weekend away with it whilst this autumn sunshine continues!

Plenty of 3 berth tunnel tents, with head height and living space if needed. Easy storage for your dingy. Polycotten can be heavy and bulky, especially when wet for your needs.

Might be worth it to keep checking online in case you can bag it at a reduced price over winter, or early into spring when shops want to restock with 2016 models and put 2015 older stock into their sales.
