Thanks to the great advice on here I am now returning for some more. This year we brought a Outwell Vermont LP and it's awesome however it is a mission to put up and take down. Last night me and my eldest went away on a one night trip in an old 3 man tent that I have had for 10 years and never used. It was a chepo to start with and there was water in the tent even though it didn't rain and if you touched the sides you would get soaked.
I'm looking for a tent that I can pitch by myself and one that has a bit more room in case my other boy and the wife fancies a night away. I don't even mind a second hand one but only really want to spend around 100 - £150 max. Is this going to get me a good quality tent that will last and survive a down-poor? If so what do you recommend?
Thanks in advance

Does it have to have fully sewn in ground sheet? If not and you are happy with separate groundsheet for loving area, the Vango Drummond 400 is around £150 and is simple tunnel shape. Or if you like Outwells have a look at the Outwell Rockingham 3, a little more pricey but great design features like a front canopy so rain does not get in through the door. Both are a manageable solo pitch, but room enough for three if you need it.

Sounds like this could be a candidate for the 'nookie in a tent' thread
