ok thanks was having a good look around and you are correct as far as i can see might just have to pace a little bit further over the apex of the tent to allow for water run off i am surprised that no one has come up wit a purpose built comfy fit for the tent which is great as it is thank you for your reply

I use an adventure tarp on my Beta 450 xl, I actually find it works better if you use it with the elasticated edge over the front pole, so basically putting it on backwards, this gives you better coverage over the opening part of the door.

Cunning! I had wondered how best to position a tarp over the side opening doors of a tunnel tent!
