Egham area
The DofE centre is a school and they put through about 84 Bronze pupils per year (about 99% of the year group), not sure on the stats for silver (high %) and gold.
The only one they seem to sometimes struggle on is the volunteering as things are limited, fortunately my daughter and her friends seem to be already sorted!

Do they still supply the Laser with those razor sharp, carbon pegs, I soon changed the pegs for some Hilleberg Ali ones.
I guess you also got the footprint, a must I would say to protect such a superb tent.
Pegs are now titanium, pegged it out in the garden and thought that they would never hold as it was pretty windy, but they did!
Footprint being delivered tomorrow, been out of stock!

Thought that might be the case Nick, as I always had to pack the Carbon Pegs separate, so not to put a hole in the Tent from the Razor sharp tips of the pegs.
Although the most anoying thing about the Carbon pegs, was when the Yellow cap, for retaining the guy, used to pop of the top of the peg, nothing that a blob of araldite rapid could not sort, but still anoying all the same.
Well the little tent performed well over the weekend. Easy to pitch - 5 minutes including chatting to another couple of people pitching.
Was fine in the windy conditions we had to begin with.
There was some condensation damp inside in the morning, but with sub-zero outside temperatures that was not surprising and once I had opened up it was fine.
The colour of the tent changed overnight from a dark green to white, but that was the frost not a fault!!
One thing - it may say 2 person tent, but it's a 1 person tent unless you stack one person on top of the other!

Aye - my one tent inner is 95cm at widest point. Barely wider than kip mat. The comp 2 is 90cm up to 105cm at widest point! Maybe big enough for 2 super-models!
