I’m after some tent recommendations; my Gamma 350 went in the bin late last year after the seams started leaking excessive amounts of water – despite coating it with Fabsil every other year. Not bad for 10 years use.
It seems however that replacement that I am happy with are a bit thin on the ground. I like the idea of having a sewn in Groundsheet and a front and side door – all of which the Gamma 350 had. Looking around I can’t seem to find any Vango tents laid out like this (of this size) anymore. So I’m open to ideas; any suggestions or recommendations?
Also, if anybody can suggest a tent that’s a little bit taller that would also be beneficial – but not a must have. Storage space is a consideration as it needs to be transported in a Classic Mini. I already own an Icarus 500 for the longer trips (3+ days).
Cheers,
Dave.

Vango seem to have abandoned having sewn in ground sheets in their smaller tents. All their lighter compact tunnel tents seem to have what they are calling a "linked in" groundsheet which is bathtub style. I did see a Sprayway Hood River 3 on Camping World website but it appears to be discontinued.....
Check out the Somerset camping online. They still have some stock of the older style Vango Aura 200 in Green or Blue at £69.99.
Its a great little tent with 170cm standing height and full sewn in groundsheet. Semi geodesic and can be put up by one person.
Seperate bedroom pod and living area, great for a couple or one.
I own one for solo camping and it a great tent and very stable in high winds, only has one door though!

Thanks for all the helpful replies, it looks like there are a couple of alternatives with SIG's.
That Aura 200 though looks absolutely spot on; I'm very tempted and it's a great price as well. Forgetting the fact it's not got a side door - it's exactly what I'm after.

I'll give it some thought over the next few days.
Dave.
I think its a great tent and a bargain at the price. I am glad I bought mine a while back.
