New member First post.
So after finally learning to drive and passing my test last year we are looking forward to a couple of family camping trips this year. I've just ordered the vango farnham 500. Anyone use this tent only seen one review on here but lots on Amazon and seems great for the price. Would love to here feedback especially on the pack size as the listing on the vango site shows its fairly compact for such a roomy tent. I will need to get creative when packing up our little Corsa. Going to be only taking basics until we get a bigger car so not taking the kitchen sink.

I am also looking at that tent or the Farnham 600 as an upgrade from the Icarus 500.

It looks great value for the money, and a good size tent considering the pack size.

I would be interested with what more experienced campers think of it.

Well mine is due to arrive today so will be pitching in the garden over the weekend. I believe the farnham is exclusive to Amazon but us identical tent to the Avington 500.

What did you think of the 500 vs 600. If I do go for a Farnham, I am undecided which I would get.

Well we have gone for the 500. Not seen it in person yet but going off the size of the icarus 500 we looked at we figured it would be ideal for us. Just seen the farnham 500 has hiked up in price on Amazon in the last few days. We paid £189 it's now £320. Glad we ordered when we did.

My friend has just purchased the same tent. Amazon have some yo-yo pricing at the moment. She almost bought it at £178 - after putting it in her basket it went up to £220 - so cancelled. Few days later it was reduced to £173 - so she bought it. After the transaction had gone through it went up in price again.

Its crazy. It increased by a few pound's after we ordered then by well over £100 since yesterday. Similar with some other tents we were looking at.

Oh no. What a massive increase in price. I should have bought it earlier.

It looked bizarrely cheap at 173, for a good quality branded tent.

That's Amazon's yo yo pricing. I think they must of had some kind of sale on over the weekend for such an increase in price.
