Is there such a thing as insulated tents?
We are about to change our current tent and down size from the big family one but am searching for information on insulated tents.
Would love comments and thoughts.

If you read through the threads about the Thermo tent on the links above, you will see that it was costly and bulky. Looking at the product page, there is a small three berth tent that does not have stand up height, for £414, and the big tunnel tent is about £1400.

I reckon you could achieve a similar light and noise reduction by lining the bedroom pod with a lightweight black fabric. Just a sheet of it draped over and held on with clothes pegs would do.
Thank for comments. Making me think now. It has actually helped me decided on the style of tent we will get based on what we have experienced in the past. We will look at the structure more carefully to make sure it is strong enough and experiment with adding something thermal ourselves.
I had a look at the Crua site but the tents on offer are either too big (but would have been perfect for our large family a few years ago) or too small (we like to be able to stand upright in the tent especially on rainy days).

Yes, there is a gap in their range; and it seems strange as I would have thought that the middle sized option would attract sales.
