I'm thinking of buying the Quechua camping shelter 3m x 3m fresh to provide a living area for our two week trip to France this summer and wondered if anyone has any experience of using this that they could share? Thanks

No experience of the camping shelter but I do have the tarp fresh and can vouch for the fabric and the build quality. It's sturdy and does the SPF50 thing as advertised.
The shelter is broadly similar to the old Outwell Oklahoma, which was regarded as the best kitchen tent by many. The reviews on the Decathlon site suggest that a couple more pegging points per side would help it cope with wind. Some clingons ought to deal with that. Do let us know how you get on.
Thanks. I was originally thinking of getting the Coleman event shelter but this seems to be much more waterproof and a lot cheaper so will give it a go!
Hi Freerange, we used it for two weeks in France last month and it was great. We ended up using it more as a large a kitchen tent which left the tent extension free of all the cooking stuff. We attached a tarp to the front of the shelter for shade and sat the table and chairs under that. It's not as big as the Coleman events shelters but we could have got a table and chairs for 6 inside with some room to spare if we had needed to. It was quick to put up and take down and stayed dry when we had any rain.
