After nearly a year long search we have finally purchased a tent. We've been going between the Kampa Croyde, the Kampa hayling, the Hi Gear Voyager 6 and any Outwell Remotely near our budget.
Got the GoOutdoors brouchre through the door and spotted the Outwell Palm Coast 6 on a WOW deal. £475 for tent, footprint and carpet. Looked on line and they had the same price listed but also included the canopy! Went in store and there was no sign of the offer at all. However the laddie we spoke to was lovely and after we showed him the web page on my phone, straightaway said they'd honour the deal. Unfortunately the tent wasn't pitched as their tent display area it is getting renovated at Edinburgh. So we took a punt.
Just had a practise pitch in the front garden, our backs too small, and we're very impressed. It was a race against the rain coming and strong breeze but still only took us 20 mins without guys and full pegging, (no room!). We're past the point of no return when our neighbour stopped for a chat and offered us his garden to pitch up in. Too late this time but we've secured it for future drying out duty
Can't wait to get away in it. A definite trip on the calendar for end of July, but hoping to get away in June, depends if the Mister's bowling club gets knocked out the Scottish cup early
Here's a few pics. Not fully pegged or guys mind so it's a bit squint.
Need to get over my fear of the poles snapping when ring pinning too!
Few weird looks from passers by

i have its baby brother - the Torrance 5 - it was on offer for 249.00 and for the space it offered together with the flat front wall that i crave for in tents... it was the perfect weekend tent for me.
mine also has the fibreglass poles but dont worry about bending them - they wont snap ( well shouldnt haha ) - these are great tents - yours is the bigger version of mine but i really like mine tremendously and in the cold weather it was so easy for my little heater to heat up the inside whereas my big concorde was a struggle to keep warm.

We've just bought this as a replacement for our Indiana 6 and had a trial pitch today - all went well but we struggled to get it back in the bag - how have you got yours in please?
We watched a video for the whitecove 5 (?) which looks to be the same tent but a different colour, but can't make it work...
We went for lie the tent out flat and folf the sides in to the middle, then one on top of the other - so in quarters effectively.
Help!!!
