We are hoping to get a 6 man air tent and I think we have narrowed it down to either the Kampa Croyde 6 Air or the Zempire Aero TXL. I wondered if anyone had any experience of these tents and what their thoughts would be. I'm particularly keen to hear from anyone with any experience of the Zempire as it looked great but we haven't been able to find any reviews of it.
Thanks for any help
Ellie.

Hi Jenks.
We have been looking at both these,They have them both up in Winfields in Chester. Both big tents and well thought out. We will be going back soon for another look.
We looked at the zempire at the NEC tent show and really liked it. However in the end we got the illusion instead due to the vents on the zempire. To allow free flowing air through the mesh vents the curtains would have to be fully open. Which is fine in the daytime, but at night when you want the windows covered but the vents open because it's hot the vents are covered over by the curtain. The way the vents are designed it would allow rain in if they were fully open and we know what the UK is like! I got the impression it was more suited to drier climates like the country it was designed in.

Both cracking tents, both have advantages and disadvantages as with most tents. The fabric on both is similar but the Zempire has a UV coating which can only be a good thing. What Simon above says is very true, the Kampa is most definitely designed for this country, I personally always try and steer people to the Zempire if they are planning on camping abroad or mostly in the height of the uk summer. After saying all that the croyde is a big seller for us but the Kampa Studland 8 is an even better tent due to some nice new 2016 design features. The Studland is nearer the Zempire price.

Thank you all for the advice, I'll take a look at the Studland again but I think we were worried it would be a bit too big. My husband is definitely keener on the Kampa, but I'm really unsure!
We love our croyde, going to france again this year in it, its withstood every sort of weather you can get, 3 storms 45mph winds horizontal rain, and 30deg heat can't fault it.
a few things we would add which might have been addressed in this years model

I think we've decided to go for the Kampa Croyde 6 Classic Air after lots of deliberating. Thank you for your help, and here's hoping we are happy with the decision!
