Hi All,

We have just bought a new inflatable tent, and now have our old Royal Pescara 8 taking up room in the garage. It developed a small leak on one of the pole sections and we could never locate the source. However, it has given us great service over the years and I would hate to just dump it. Does anyone have any ideas, or want to take it for spares etc. It just seems such a shame otherwise.

I usually pass my old tents on through Freecycle. Just find your local one online, and you will be inundated with offers to take it off your hands.

Hi Tonyd3, I've just purchased a Royal Pescara 8 tent on ebay. I have bought it even though it has bent poles. I'm really happy to take it off your hands even just some poles to make mine complete, if you still have it. Many thanks.

Yep still have the tent, just clearing the garage today and there is it. You are more than welcome to it but we are in N.Ireland. Let me know if you can figure out a way to collect it, or if you are no longer interested, let me know and I'll try out freecycle.

Hi, I've only just seen this message. Totally gutted I do hope you still have this tent major problem our red poles are damaged and need urgent replacement please fingers crossed my mobile no is 0**********8 I've been searching the net all night for poles! And just Logged into this.

Pity. I sold my pescara last week.
O'meara camping in Dublin can make up a set of poles for a pescara.

I think I have managed to source some 🤞 TonyD3 still has his tent. I'm just going to check a courier as we are based in Wales. Very urgent now, as we are camping in France and leave on Friday morning! Typical of me leaving it to the last minute and it's only coz I pitched it yesterday to waterproof it and remembered the poles are bent and jammed together. 😤 I've been searching the internet all evening for replzcemt poles and not found anywhere that can help as yet! (Apart from Tonyd3) he cud be a total life saver right now!
