Okay folks..... I am the appointed purchaser of a tent for my 18yo nephew. The budget is £150ish and he wants something that is stand-up height and enough living space for table and chairs, for 2-3 people. I think a SIG would be preferable (because he hates creepy-crawlies!).

I think a simple tunnel shape would be best, just because he has a low tolerance for things going wrong!

Ever so slightly over budget (About 160-165 in delivery) but large and plenty of room for everything. Takes a few days to come through from NL.

try the Decathlon site at sale time - they often have Vango tents quite cheap

Vango just have a nice quality to them, I like the TBS system which is just that bit of reassurance it'll do better in a bit of wind.

Yes I am a Vango fan. In the end I opted for a 2nd hand Outwell Nevada off EBay: bagged it for £155 complete with footprint and carpet.

That looks a good tent for the price. Thankfully (for me) it is not available online or I may of ordered a tent I don't really need. :)
