Having just bought the Edoras 600XL and having a short weekend away to try it out was wondering if anyone else has this tent and invested in the Porch Extension or the Sun Canopy optional extra?
It already has decent porch fitted which protects the door from the rain but you can buy a porch extension that has a door which gives an extra 1.5m length and at £250 is expensive. Has anyone invested in this and how do you find it?
A cheaper option is the Sun Canopy at £110 which I'm tempted with. Was hoping someone has tried these extras for this tent and can provide any feedback.
Apart from that I am very impressed with the ease these Air tents go up and down so far.
Thanks All!

I have the 500, and have just won the awning! The awning gives you an extra 2m 45. I think the 600xl awning is £290 from memory, mine was £275.
But I would love some info too! So will look forward to a knowledgeable person coming along!
I have a question. Do you still need to peg out the front airbeam guylines when the awnings on?
I would have love the sun canopy, but they don't do it for the 500.
Provided a Tent review of the 600XL, along with the sun canopy and front awning. Some photos too. If you have any specific questions I will attempt to answer.
I have used the sun canopy on my two outings so far, its perfect for my needs. The front awning has only been fitted during my trial pitch, see the review for my comments.
You do not need the front guys, when attached by the zip, the guys on the awning provide the lateral stretch to hold the tent forward. I did however when I trial pitched leave the guys to the left and right pitched (see the photos)
The front awning when fitted to the 600XL make the unit length 9m+ so struggling to find sites at this time of the season whom haven't already booked their larger pitches.
Thanks for the feedback. That was my worry with the Awning extension with the total length being over 9m.
I have gone with the Sun Canopy instead with a plan to wrap my windbreak around the edge of the sun canopy to enclose it in for extra protection from the elements.
Hopefully canopy is being delivered tomorrow.

Yeah something like that. My windbreaks ain't as high so was going to experiment with bringing the windbreak directly across the front. Will see how it looks and what the space is like.
