I would be grateful for anyone owning an Outwell Birdland 3 2016 model to help me out with some queries regarding this tent. The front part definitely looks strange when pitched (notice the steel poles), Sportsdirect said it is pitched wrong (tried twice but same issue). Outwell will not comment, directed me to the dealer.
Would love to compare this with other owners. Thanks!

Thanks for both of your replies, actually the two issues you mention were my exact ideas first, also mentioned these to Outwell but no response.
All seems to be fine when pitching until the point when I insert the canopy pole which then pushes the steel poles out of position. The plastic joints are pre-installed and screw fixed, I could slide them down but would have to drill the poles for that: not sure how that would affect warranty.

Had issues with my inflatable (potential twisted airbeam haven't been able to fix it yet) but it lifted the front off the tent slightly outwell did suggest as well as trying to redig the beam to shorten the canopy pole but was lucky enough that they offered to send a shorter one but haven't had the chance to get it out yet.
Have this same thing on mine, but has never really been a problem. Your pitch all looks too tight, slack off the porch guys a bit, I don't use mine at all unless in high winds.
Only adverse criticism I have with this tent is the super slippery floor materials, especially in the bedroom. Apart from that, very stable in high winds and super watertight. Great feature from earlier Birdland 3s is oversize carry sack making packing up much less stressful.
