hi there , just bought my first tent and the couriers have lost the polls , does any one know if the montana 6 poles are the same as montanta 6p poles . thanks in advance hilux91

Is it a new tent, or used? If new, surely it's the retailer's responsibility to send out new poles? If used, did the seller arrange the courier or did you?

There have been so many different Montana 6 tents over the years. Even the same model has had different sized poles every so often

thanks for the reply s , bought the tent second hand on ebay , only used a couple of time s. I organised for a courier to pick up the tent and they lost the bag with tent poles . the tent in question is a 6p model so has heavier poles for the heavier tent material . new set of poles costs £ 332 . have since bought a another 6p tent only used for 5 nights camping and will get it delivered mid week some time . have put a claim in with the couriers for the original tent poles which were lost ,I paid extra for insurance , please do this as this is the second time in a row I have sent some thing for it to get lost . hope fully the courier will pay out with out to much hassle . thought you would like an up date . thanks hilux99.
