What is the point of this? The join between car and tent does not exactly look, watertight!! I think you would need 2 of these, 1 either end of a large field, and a big inflatable ball. Then it could be fun.

The Khyam tailgate awning looks pretty good, and friends of ours were recently looking at the Outdoor Revolution Outhouse Handi XL (here). I'm not sure if the latter can be adapted for use on a tailgate but it's maybe something to look into?

Thanks for that i will look into those two.i though the audi effort was a climbing frame !Now trying to organise how I will 'car camp' what to take,what not to take etc.
