Rather than use our Wolflake for just 2 nights we are looking for a nice weekend polycotton tent. We use rather large camp beds so it's got to be around the 3m wide.

Like the look of the Newgate 4 but it's only 215mm wide, so is a bit narrow. Surprised it's called a 4 to be honest.

So, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Steve

Hello Smiler

I always like the look of the Vango Solace 400 Tent 2016 but it may still be a little tight as the internal bedroom dimensions are 280cm.

I love the colour and the porch on this tent.

BTC, Vango, Esvo, Cabanon, and various bell tents.....all make various 4 man polycotton tents.
How about vintage, such as a Blacks GC Major with extended fly.
Good ones can be pricey, but still cheaper than new???????
Or a second hand patrol style tent?

Thanks for the suggestions.

Being 6'3" I should have said I prefer a tunnel tent.

The Concorde 5ATC is very nice, but expensive.

Will take a look at BTC, Vango etc. but I like the look of the newer Trout Lake 4 if I can get a 2nd hand one.

Well, just bought a 2nd hand Outwell Yukon 4 which looks exactly the same as our Minnesota 4 which we currently use for weekends.

But is polycotton, so excellent result.

(Still use our Wolf Lake 5 for longer stays though).
