We are looking at upgrading to an inflatable tent and can't decide between the Kampa Studland 8 Air and the Outdoor Revolution 6.0xtr. We had a bad experience last year in very windy conditions so we want something that is sturdy. The Outdoor Rev seems to have previous bad reviews but the spec is really good and I can't find any reviews from the updated 2016 model. We also like the Vango Illusion 800 but it's a bit more expensive and not sure it's worth the extra.

We bought the Studland earlier this year and have managed one trip to the Dales so far. It was reasonably windy and I was really impressed with how sturdy it was. We had no previous experience of air tents and bought it purely based on size and the possibility of putting it up almost single handed (2 very young children!). It comes with storm straps which allows you to get extra tension at the ends, but to be honest the airtubes seem so rigid I wasn't particularly concerned.
We will be pitching the Outdoor Rev over the weekend and will make a walk through video of the updated 2016 model as I don't think there is a video out there yet of the 2016. Just search youtube for "Cross Camping"

We love our outdoor rev 6.0 we have last years model and it has stood up to some of the worst wind and rain we've ever camped in with no problems. We camped a couple of weekends ago with our kids, sons tent almost went over the hedge before we managed to put out all the guys, took 5 of us to get it up... ours didn't move, I put it up with 14yr grandson: put up the storm straps first then guyed out.
The 2016 model has zapped bases to the doors now like the Vango tents. Lasts years model has clip up / fold down groundsheets at the doors which is good in some ways (less of a chance to trip) but also more chance of draughts.

We don't find it draughty in fact the fold down groundsheet was a selling point for us...no trip ups for toddlers, but like Gary said the 2016 has zips.
