Hi Folks

Just received my new vango Euphoria and put it up for the first time.
Having never had an airbeam before it was a voyage of discovery putting it up.
Two things I had difficulty with was firstly inflating I started with the two beams either side of the door and using the pressure gauge went in the middle of the green which shows 7 I assume this is psi as this is a heavy tent I felt it struggled to rise even with help from me on the inside so my question is should I push this up to the 8 or is this too much.
Secondly getting it back in the bag is a major struggle by myself due to its size and not helped by its weight. It took me a second fold and attempt to get it back in.
I think I will be leaving it loose in the boot as its dimensions in the bag are difficult for the car.
Any how all good for the first pitch I gave it a good soaking and left it to dry and will do so again on Sunday before the holidays in start of August.
Loving to dark interior and breathable interior coolness.
Any advice on inflation pressure would be very welcome and what order to put the beams up in.

We have a Vango Rhapsody which replaced the Euphoria and I can assure you that 7psi is fine...we usually inflate at least 3 or 4 beams before one of us ventures inside to give the beams a hand...once all the beams are at 7psi your tent should be rock solid...ours has already been tested in gale force winds and it hardly moved...

We do the two beams on either side of the door first and then the next two beams out from them...the front beam (on the Rhapsody) is the last one we inflate, but the tent is up and standing by then...

I'm following that format but I think the difference with the two is the Euphoria is about 20 kg heavier than the Rhapsody but that the Rhapsody has the new superbeams 30% bigger than the Euphoria so I think the 7psi is probably perfect and I'm guessing is one of the main reasons for the change, I'm wondering if anybody goes up as far as 8 psi or is it advisable or necessary I haven't tested it in wind but am concerned about its stability.

In this weather I'd be reluctant to go up to 8psi as the heat causes the pressure to increase and I've heard a couple of stories this week of burst beams and other inflatables. We also have the Rhapsody and I start with the Middle beam and work backwards before doing the front one. Open the doors whilst inflating as the wind will naturally get into the tent and start to push it up. I normally push from the inside once the first 2 beams are inflated

Firstly I think you have done very well and you have done it all in the right order, you will get better at it. Re folding, again, well done, even the best of us have re roll a tents sometimes.
Most of the weight difference is actually in the pvc groundsheet and not the flysheet. 7-8 psi is fine but I'm this hot weather stay nearer the 7psi.

We have the Kampa Croyde air Classic and use this faby way of packing it away, it works everytime.

Hi Guys
Thanks for the fantastic advice, I pitched again yesterday when it was overcast and I had help, mich easier this time It's good to know about the hot weather and the beams as I would most likely not thought about this until one went pop.
I fully pegged it down yesterday and am very happy with it.
It's so cool in the sun compared to the orava that I have.
The second person makes the fold very much easier, and using duffs54 pack up advice I've managed to compress it to the point that it goes in the boot by leaving out the pump and pegs from the bag.
All in all I'm delighted now roll on the 4th I'm off to Italy for three weeks😀

Fantastic tent by the way and the fabric is possibly one of the best polycottons I've come across
