Hi All

I have recently purchased a Hi Gear Corado 8 tent ( second hand ). We put it up for the first time over the weekend when we went camping. The tent is fantastic and we had no issues erecting the tent with the external poles. Once the tent was set up we was left with one large pole ( approx. 7m long ). I have established that the pole is the length of the tent and is to go on the inside. I have no idea how this poles fits to the inside and could do with some help. Does anyone know how to fit this central pole on this type of tent???. I have searched for videos ect and instructions online but so far I have had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards

I would take a look at this video. Look just above the windows on the left, where the people are sitting, it looks like there is a pole running the length of the tent to help keep it rigid which suggests to me you should have had 2 of these poles. We had the Corado 4 which was much smaller so would not have had those poles.

Hope it helps.

Also look at some pics of it on the tent review section on here.

We had a Corado 8 too before our caravans, and yes IICRC, there should be two poles up in the corners running the full length of the tent to help keep the ridged shape of the tent between the cross poles.
