Hi ,my old coleman bispace 300 was a great tent for 2,a separate bedroom, decent height, and able to take a small table and chairs,
also it could be put up by myself when in the lakes on walking holiday !
but unfortunately its no longer available, could anyone recommend a tent similar ,thanks.

As you know fashions come and go and then what the various manufacturers produce reflect current technology etc and so the dome tent with outshot style is hard to buy new. The Khyam Freelander is still available however that has an in built pole system you may or may not want.

I think that you may as well take this opportunity to have a sewn in groundsheet which is pretty standard.

Have a look at the Hi Gear Aura 3 and Gobi 4, then a bit bigger Kampa Oxwich 5 and Vango Iris 5. The ease of a tunnel tent particularly ones with the same sized poles is you don't need to colour code the poles. I have a Vango Icarus same as the Iris and it's up in 15 minutes me pitching it alone.

Looks the same as Coleman Raleigh 5 which is available or the Zempire invert 6 looks a lot nicer.

Though I would probably buy something a little more modern.

There are plenty of tents that have the same type of layout but don't have that old dome tent look.
