Looking to purchase a large family tent in the sales. I was liking the Vango Inspire 600 but my partner is worried about punctures and stability with the inflatable tents so we are currently looking at a Vango Orava or Neva, anyone recommend either of these? I'm struggling to see what the differences are between the tents except maybe the poles (steel in Neva). Does anyone know if they are the same size, spec otherwise? Any advice welcome before we buy... There are only three of us (2 adults and 1 child) but 2 dogs too and I like lots of space as always take too much stuff lol. Thanks, Sue

Not sure if you would find the 2016 Vango Elite 50th Anniversary Range in any sales for a while yet. But I can confirm the improved quality materials Vango have used put to rest any fears of punctures/rips/tares/strength etc.
As for stabillity issues I doubt you could find a more stable tent than the new models. I have reviewed the new 2016 Eclipse (post in moderator queue)9/10.
Can only assure your partner saving up for a 2016 Vango Elite edition is worth it. Biggest discount on new price if you can bag a package deal for all the extras.
Are Air beams easy to pitch? The jury is still out but I'll give them a big easy peasy yes.
I have reviewed the Orava in the reviews section of the forum. My understanding is that it's the same as the Neva (except as you say the poles).
I'm very happy with it, easy to erect / strike, tons of room (almost feels too big for us 2 adults and 2 small children) but I'm sure all that space would be welcome on a rainy day. Loads of ventilation with all 3 doors being meshed (which I couldn't find elsewhere within budget) and it seems very well made. Also plenty of room to put a pop up tent in the living area if anyone joined us, or for dogs.
It is heavy at 30kg but I now pack the poles separately, which makes it more manageable to carry. All packed together it's very hard to lift on my own and I would consider myself fit and strong!. I perhaps would have purchased the Neva for the benefit of the steel poles if I'd known I could get it for the same price. You'd need to double check the spa are exactly the same though as the Orava is better specced than the Taiga (air version).
Note I've only used it twice in great conditions so I'm not sure how well the fibreglass poles would stand up to a strong wind but they're very thick and it has the tension band system to.
Thanks for the replies, I purchased the Neva in the end from our local camping shop (well I say local it was over an hours drive each way lol) but they had it on display and it looked great. They didn't do the Orava and I was happy with the more stable steel poles, apart from the weight. We got a good deal which included the carpet and footprint, must say I wasn't expecting it to be soooo big when they loaded it! Now we might just have to put it up in the garden to test out this weekend :).
