Hello knowledgeable peoples.
I have seen a second hand Kampa Filey 5 air but there isn't much info about it.

Has anyone owned one and could they give me a full run down of the spec.

The size is perfect, 4m x 6.6m and the fact it has a built in vestibule is an awesome bonus.

So, questions;
Can you unzip all the compartments in the bed pods to make a single big room?

Are there light hanging points and do the cable ties go down both sides, also, what beam is the light fixing point on and is it a loop or Velcro?

Which side is the cable entry loint on? Does it have more than one?

How much does the bag weigh?

Im sure I have more questions, I just can't think of any more just now.

It just seems a bit too good to be true.

Hi there.

We have a Filey 5 air. It's a great tent and we love it. To answer your questions:-

Can you unzip all the compartments in the bed pods to make a single big room?

Yes and our's is configured like this permanently.

Are there light hanging points and do the cable ties go down both sides, also, what beam is the light fixing point on and is it a loop or Velcro?

There are light hanging points in the main living area. The ties are down both sides of the main beam and they are Velcro. There is a hanging loop in the middle too. The light fixing loops are plastic.

Which side is the cable entry loint on? Does it have more than one?

There are cable entry points on both sides.

How much does the bag weigh?

A lot!!! It is a huge bag and is very weighty. I was really surprised at the size and it takes two of us to lift into the car.

We had an issue with a couple of the air beams in May this year but Kampa were excellent and replaced them free of charge (a whole set in fact) and they arrived the following day!! Excellent service.

If you need any more information let me know.

Should have said there are light hanging points in the bedrooms too!
