Just seen the new Vango Illusion 500
Integrated porch.
Not too big - so can be kept warm in cooler weather unlike the monster tents which are hard to heat. Means I can camp earlier and later in the year when sites aren't busy / peak season prices.
Heaven on earth
Now it's just who will I buy it from?...
Who else fancies a new 2017 tent and which one?

We are on the lookout for a new tent for weekends, and short stays we like the outwell Indian lake, but they are not made anymore. We seen Garry cross video on YouTube yesterday showing the outdoor revolution crossover tent and we both like it, think we will be heading to the nec in February to have a look and to try and get a good deal on a tent package as would like to see as many as possible in person before we buy.

WE are now down to our Vango Edoras 500XL; an Outwell Monty 4 which I need to check but may have to be scrapped; a couple of small festival type tents and an old ridge tent.
Now looking at the Kampa Brean 4 Air as our weekend/short stay tent.
I now own two tents. Got our outwell Nevada M and Awning. Just bought a 4man tipi Robens Fairbanks which I can't wait to try out at the end of the month. Going to use this as our weekend/short break tent.
Only two at the moment.
We sold the Coleman Caucasus and want to sell the Royal Pescara. This will leave us with the Vango force 10 MK2 and money towards a new BCT task force 4.
The BCT and the Vango should cover weekends and longer trips and free up boot space.

Until recently I could justify them all because they have different uses but a couple seem to be virtually duplicates so I suppose a few may have to go.
Also, in my defence, I've used 5 of them this year ☺️

I had 13 at one point. I sold 4 last year, a Vango Halo, a Coleman Cobra, a Gelert Cabana 4 and a Gelert Lunar 2. I sold my Quechua Base Seconds pagoda style the autumn before that. I still have my Quechua Base Seconds, a discontinued 4 berth Quechua pop up, my vintage Lichfield Challenger 5, my big vintage frame tent (Stan Evans Bungalow 6) a little Freeman ridge tent two berth (also vintage) another small frame tent (Sunncamp Villa 3) a Vango Icarus and my 4m Bell Tent. Then I recently bought two Olpro Pops. Where do I keep them? In the loft over the winter with all fingers crossed. In the summer the ones in use usually take up a corner of my bedroom or the livingroom.
I would sell the Icarus (which has a split pole i'd need to repair) and the 4 berth Quechua but haven't got round to it.
I find that since getting the 4m Bell Tent I don't need anything else. If I had to have only one tent, that would be it.
