Be interested to see these new guys up close.
I like the idea of webbing straps(?) instead of traditional guyline, but not keen on the complete bottom section lying constantly in wet grass/on mud. Are they gonna be clean and dry when you take the tent down? Will they need to be removed (as I do with my guylines), or will you need to re-pitch at home (even if the tent is dry) simply to dry out the guy straps? Indeed, can they be removed easily/quickly? Will they work with carabiners, for instance?
Then there's the single-point issue (ignoring the corners, of course). So effectively no peg where the ring and pin usually is/at the base of the pole/tube? (Have I got that right?) So the tensioning of the tent base/SIG is just at the 4 corners? Hmmm... not sure I like that!
Yes, they look smart when pitched. Yes, I suspect they keep things nice and sturdy. (I can only assume that whatever the tension locking system is, it is comparable with standard guy line tensioners, if not Line-Loks?) But are they practical?
Jury's out for me, at this early stage.

I love the look of the Croyde, but why oh why have they not got the option of mesh on the canopy windows. You usually like to sit under the canopy on a sunny day to get some shade, but with just plastic windows you just boil. Well thats what we found with our Corado. Mesh on the windows of the tent, but not on the canopy...Strange.
