Hi everyone
I've decided to retire the Royal Biarritz 6 as my two sons have left home and it's now just my wife and I. The Biarritz has been wonderful but it's just too big for two of us. I have a great deal of trust in Royal tents as we've never had any issues at all, but my choice of next tent is a bit frustrating.
Some years ago I saw the Athens 4 (actually I first saw the Athens 6 and loved it, then discovered the 4 berth version)and what I love is that it's roughly 7m x 3m so it will fit on standard pitches, but the big thing is the bedrooms/living area/cooking area configuration where there are three distinct and separate areas. I love that setup, I've seen a few like this over the years like the Vango Maritsa and Kampa's equivalent Bamburgh but they have always been too big, I've always felt that I might as well keep using the faultless Biarritz.
My question is...can anyone spare my old eyes as I've searched for something similar to the Athens 4 without success, by letting me know of a 4 berth with the same configuration. It's such a shame they stopped making it as it's perfect. Whatever happened to Royal, they seemed so prominent now they're in hiding.
