Hi, any advice on how to hang tent pockets in an air-tent, please? It's the Vango Airbeam Taiga 600XL, but it has no pockets. Thanks.

What do the bedroom inners attach to? Can you rig something there?

I tried hanging it off the inners but it made the tent sag too much in the middle. I think I need a frame of some sort.

I wonder if/presume it's precisely because it's inflatable that there are no pockets to pull down the tubes. When I first started looking at tents, back in 2012, it seemed that tent pockets were all the rage, and a massive selling point, particularly the main ones running from floor to ceiling in between the bedroom doors. Are other High Street/Low pressure inflatables short on these pockets? Maybe that's a compromise to be considered, when buying them?

My (high pressure) inflatable doesn't have pockets as standard, but are available as an optional extra, but there's little to no concern about the air tubes being weighed down.

We've used something like this in the past, but of course, it does take up a fair bit of space...

Those black hanging shelves/drawers were from Ikea. You could certainly fit two side by side, if not three (if the hanging space isn't required?)
The actual rail/frame was Argos, and folds flat.

We use car boot tidies. I tend to forget things are in tent pockets and lose them until the tent gets used again.

Mucker I think that's what I'm gonna my to have to do. Our tent isn't inflatable but all poles are exterior. How flat and easily does the rail pack down please?

Once assembled (it comes flat pack/in bits!) it was comfortably easy, to be fair. From memory (haven't used it for a couple of years, as it doesn't fit our pod tent)...
Un-hook the top cross bar (the hanging rail), and literally push the two end frames towards each other. the two diagonal bars lower down pivot centrally and slide up the end frames. It's all a little rickety in all honesty, and nothing actually glides into place, so it isn't perfect, but it does the job, and it never collapsed/fell over. It certainly wasn't awkward to put up/take down in any way. If you have one of these cooker stands...

...I can assure you the clothes rail is a lot easier (and less dangerous!) to both erect and pack down!
Again from memory, I reckon the depth of the flattened rail was about 3" or so?

I actually cut mine down (with a hacksaw) as I wanted it up against the curved wall of the tent, and it was too high. Think I cut about a foot off it's original height. Then I went and changed the tent, and positioned where it is in the above photo, the original would have been fine of course (As the tent roof is higher at the centre).

Just had a quick look on Argos to give you a link, but it looks like they don't do the same model anymore. Once built, it was truly a foldaway. No need for dismantling or removing screws etc like many would. May need to shop around (Pretty sure it was under £20, maybe £15 ish?)

I've now bought this http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1428744-10294381?url=http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5696677
It packs down to just poles so shouldn't take up much space in the roof box and was a doddle to assemble. Three weeks until our trip - I'll let you know how it goes!
