Hello,
I'm after some answers about the Touareg tent available from belltent.uk
I've found a friendly helper who will bring back from France for me if I order from Obelink thus saving not a small amount of money. I'm just about to part with my long saved money but hesitating.
I'm attracted as it looks nice, we love canvas and I need a quick pitch for weekends. So here's to the questions.
Is the inner big enough for a posadas campbed or not with the sloping sides. Would I also fit a single sim cross ways for the small child who insists on joining us for camping trips.
How small is the 'corridor' left if I opt for two inner?
A smaller sleeping area does feel warming in the morn the the rest of a large single skinned tent so would we be foolish to do without an inner or just have one for the child and we sleep in the large area?
Does it really only take 15mins to pitch?
I plan going with some other mums from our home ed group most of the time, will us short ladies manage without a man folk, tall type person?
Lots of questions but never seen one in the canvas or spoken to an owner so feels a bit of a risk to buy unseen.
Many thanks all.
Helen

From what I have heard, the Bell Tent and Obelink Touraregs are the same tent.
Pitching Solo is 15-20 mins plus kitting out. Though with the Obelink tent you will have to tie the guy ropes on when 1st pitched.
Two inner tents will make the living area very narrow.
As to camp beds in the inner it all depends on how high they are in relation to the sloping sides. Most inner tents struggle to fit camp beds conventionally.
On the plus side, people I know prefer the Tourareg to the Bell. Have seen them stand up well to high winds.

Hi, There are some reviews of Belltent Tourareg on this site with a few photos which may give an idea of size inside.
We considered one of these at one point, they look like nice tents.

Thanks for the heads up Mitzi, I have read the reviews though and didn't find the info I was after.
I'm still drawn to it though and keep coming back to it...
