We have a Bravo BP12 electric pump which we use with our Outwell tent.
Does anyone use this pump with a Vango inflatable? Does it connect well?
Thinking of adding a Solace TC400 to our collection
Many thanks.

You will need to use one of the white size adaptors that come with the Bravo and the locking fitting from the end of the tube on the Vango pump... easy and simple. In the video attached we just used the white fitting but it could blow off but it works.

Gary, I thought it best to add to this thread rather than open a new one.

We have the Vango Solace TC 400 and we are considering a pump this year to save our backs. I know Vango do their own one but I see you and others recommend the Bravo. The thing I like about the Vango one is the length of the cable as sometimes you can't park your car near your pitch. I also like the fact that the vango one plugs into the 12v plug in the car rather than having to clip to the battery. I don't want to go down the road of having to carry an additional leisure battery.

How do you think they compare to each other? Is it just speed that makes the Bravo better?

Hi, watch the videos in the description in this link, I think this is by far the best pump that plugs into the car 12v socket, loads of cable as well.

I'm gonna have a look now, Gary, in your experience can an electric pump get the tent up quicker than a hand pump?

john,mel,3kids!

Without a doubt if you have a large polycotton tent. If it's a small polyester one, possible not, as by the time you've connected it all up you could be most of the way there.

For us with health issues and an Outwell Harrier, the Bravo and a motorcycle battery is the perfect solution. We could probably get away with the manual pump for the Solace as it's a lot smaller :)

The Clods, look at this link, our battery is in the back of the estate meaning we have to empty stuff out to get to it, so we now have an Acid battery, which does the job, so we can pitch where we like.
