Hi all, I'm looking for a 3 man tent under £100, which I can put up single handed.
I've narrowed it down to a VANGO Ark 300 Plus or a VANGO Beta 350xl.
Does anyone have any other recommendations, or preference from these two?
Thanks.

If you have a look in the tent review section I think both of those tents have reviews and opinions which might help?

My only comment on either of those tents is that you can't do much more than sleep in them as you can barely sit up let alone stand in either. More for backpacking/cycling really but if that is what you are looking for then should be fine.

If your budget is really strict then perhaps have a look at the Freedom Trail tents at Go Outdoors. They currently have the full height 4 berth Sendero 4 in stock for £85.

I have used the Vango Beta 350 (not the XL) for several years it is a good weekend tent not enough headroom to stand up in but enough to sit on a camping chair. Plenty of room for storage in the front and loads of room for 2 people inside. Easy to pitch, can be done by 1 person just getting the poles in is easier with 2.
Regards Les

I had a vango 350 and it's a good tent. It's right that you cant stand up in it but depends what you want it for. It's easy to put up by one person, plenty of room in the front area for chair, table cooker and food etc. It has a door either side of the the porch so you can cook, in the lea side of the tent most times. The windows have covers over for privacy and a floor which is connected to tent.
The inner is quite large and you can easily sit up in it and could take two adults comfortably.
I'd agree with LesD, that it is fine for short stay camping.
I've got a coleman coastliner now, if I was going car camping but the 350 is a good, well made tent.
