Hi
Any one got an Outwell Nevada MP? I thinking of getting one and would like some views from owners. I've read the tent reviews . In particular how stable is the tent in windy conditions with the Duratec poles.
My 11 year old Montana 4 needs replacing but the Montana 5P seems expensive so Nevada MP or Monty 5P?

I've got a Nevada MP 2016. It's not as rocksolid as å steelpoled rent as the duratec poles has some flexibility. Our tent was put through some serious winds and it felt very secure. I don't remember exactly how windy it was but our neighbours caravan awning failed due to the wind.
With the frontawning attached it does move around more (you have to undo the front storm guylines). Properly guyed out high winds shouldn't be a problem.
This year we have added the "dual protector" in an attempt to keep the temperature inside lower.

We have a Nevada M bought in 2012 and still going strong (The MP I beleve has panoramic windows but otherwise is the same). I have tried to kill it as out next tent will be a Karsten (which I can't wait to buy) but haven't manged it yet. It has stood up to a range of weather conditions and clearly doesn't want to die

Nevada M is a superb tent, I have one too, only selling as we have switched to a Cabanon.

The tent Is very spacious and airy, lots of windows and handy mesh screens. The front door is sloping so you won't want to open that in the rain, but there is a side door with small canopy for using when it's raining.

Ours has never let us down during holidays.

We also have the open fronted extension which makes for a really useful space to sit out in, especially if the weather is not so good.

I'd advise getting the carpet for extra comfort and footprint.

Hi LesD , we had a Nevada MP but the campsite we stay at on the Isle of Wight is notoriously windy , right on the beach on the south side of the island which takes the brunt of some fierce south/westerly weather fronts which unfortunately was to much for the tent, so we now have an Outwell Vermont XLP which has 5 rows of steel poles which is more suited to the conditions on this site ,however the Nevada MP is a nice tent and will probably fine for 99% of campsites
