Our trusty Outwell Montana 6 has started to let some water in.
Had the tent about 8/9 years now and it has been pretty much faultless, but this weekend we had heavy rain and found water coming in as very fine drops across a lot of the roof.
It was dripping from the light hook in the middle of the tent, and in the back corner of the bedroom area, and when the wind blew a bit (it wasn't a strong wind by any means) causing the material to flap, then a fine mist of water descended in a lot of places.
Is it worth trying to re-proof the roof? If so are there any recommendations as to what to use and how to get it one there?
Or is it just that the material has reached its limit after 8 years and I'd be better off replacing the tent?
